Lil’ Wayne Reportedly Near Death, Having Seizures

Update:7:57pm MT.  TMZ edits the portion of their original story that claimed Lil' Wayne was being prepared for last rites, but sticks with their most recent update (below).

Update:  7:36pm MT:  TMZ sources continue to disagree with tweets from Young Money insiders, and Lil' Wayne himself, who just tweeted "I'm good everybody. Thx for the prayers and love."  TMZ reports that Wayne remains in critical condition, but is "stabilizing" with an "uncertain prognosis", and that their sources say he is asleep - during the same period his Twitter account posted the above message.  Hmm.

Update, 7:30pm MT:  Tweets coming from the Young Money camp, specifically Mack Maine, conflict with TMZ's story.  Maine tweets "Wayne is alive and well! We watching the Syracuse game..thanks for all the prayers and concern...he will update you all soon #love".  "We will be releasing an official statement shortly but don't believe the nonsense about comas and tubes to breathe...that's false!" "#F**K TMZ"

According to reports, Lil' Wayne is currently in critical condition in Los Angeles in Cedars-Sinai Hospital after another bout of seizures.  Lil' Wayne is described as "unstable", and in a medically-induced coma.  His family and friends are reportedly gathering to say their last goodbyes - and we're told that his mother is currently on a flight to LA where she will determine next steps and life support campaign.  According to TMZ sources, there is evidence that Weezy went on a cough syrup binge after his earlier release this week from the same hospital - high amounts of codeine were allegedly found in his system, and his stomach was pumped three times to remove the drugs.  Listen to KISS-FM and keep an eye out here for updates on this rapidly changing situation.
