Roughly 400 customers in Casper and nearly another 300 in the Douglas area are without power this morning due to a number of outages reported by Rocky Mountain Power.

The power outages have impacted at least two local television stations, as well as at least four radio stations.

The largest outage in the Casper area, reported just east of Rotary Park, has impacted 339 customers and was reported at 10 a.m. Rocky Mountain Power estimates power to be restored to those customers at 2:30 p.m.

Up Casper Mountain to the south, another outage reported at 4:31 a.m. has impacted 63 customers, though earlier Rocky Mountain Power said the outage was affecting over 100 customers. A crew is said to be responding, and the outage is estimated to be repaired at 12 p.m.

Near Douglas, between Highway 93 and I-25, an outage reported just before 10 a.m. is affecting 197 customers in two zip codes. The power company estimates repairs will be completed at 2 p.m.

To the west, south of I-25, another outage reported at about the same time is affecting 90 customers, also spanning two zip codes. The estimated time for repairs is listed as 2:30 p.m.
