This awesome edifice was constructed to resemble the famous fictional spacecraft, the USS Enterprise. The building is the brainchild of Liu Dejian, the 43-year-old founder of video game and smartphone app company, NetDragon Websoft. Lui Dejian is an avid Trekkie. He followed all the proper procedures, including contact CBS, which are the owners of the Star Trek franchise, to get the proper permission.

The estimated cost of the building was just under 100 million dollars. Considering NetDragon is a billion company, they can definitely afford it. It was built in the coastal city of Changle in China’s Fujian province and took almost 4 years to construct. As you can see, it was worth every penny!
