Ride Along was one of the surprise hits of 2014, making a massive pile of cash in the traditionally slow month of January. A sequel was inevitable. Like clockwork, Ride Along 2 is set to arrive almost exactly two years to the day after the first film. Which means the second outing of Ice Cube and Kevin Hart’s mismatched buddy cops was written, shot, edited and will be released in the space of 728 days.
Chris Brown often gets put in a bad light, but one thing you have to give him credit for is his showmanship. Earlier this month (March 8th, 2015), during his Between the Sheets Tour with Trey Songz, he brought out his little nephew.
To be clear, this is not the trailer for ‘Die Hard.’ Or ‘Spy Hard.’ Or ‘Drive Hard.’ Or ‘Walk Hard’ (although that’s closer). No, this is the trailer for ‘Get Hard.’ Good, glad we cleared that up.
The odd couple is one of the basic principles of comedy. You take two very different people, fling them into an absurd situation and (hopefully) rack up some good laughs. The ‘Get Hard’ trailer shows off one of the more inspired comedic pairings in recent memory, with the tall whiter-than-white Will Ferrell teaming up with the short black Kevin Hart. If the differences between two lead actors generated laughs on their own, then this is already the funniest movie of 2015.
You often hear about our stars and celebrities, no matter how good they are at singing or acting, can be real snobs and/or divas in real life. That's why it's really good to see a celebrity do something caring and down to earth.
