A woman in Michigan is suing movie studio FilmDistrict because she feels she was mislead by the trailer and the marketing for the Nicolas Winding Refn film starring Ryan Gosling. In her suit, she claims the studio “promoted the film as very similar to ‘The Fast and the Furious,’ or similar, series of movies,” and that she was disappointed to find there was “very little driving in the picture.” Re

Leighton Meester, 25, known for her role as Blair Waldorf on the CW’s ‘Gossip Girl,’ has sued her mom for mishandling money. It’s unclear how much Meester is seeking. Her mother, Constance, has allegedly been spending money originally meant for Meester’s brother, Lex, and his medical issues. The suit alleges Constance spent the $7,500 a month on cosmetic procedures and other expenses.
