The Marvel Netflixverse is dead.

They maybe fictional comic book characters idolized by some, but they were designed with a background and have their own war stories of sorts.

If there’s one thing both TV and movie branches of the Marvel Cinematic Universe have taken to heart, it’s that no costume shall be worn without some functionality. We certainly saw that with Netflix’s Daredevil, saving Matt Murdock’s comic-costume for the very end, but should we expect the same Season 2 treatment for Punisher and Elektra?

Surprise! Earlier this week, word got around that Daredevil Season 2 might go head to head against Batman and Superman with a March 25 premiere, but it seems Matt Murdock will beat even the world’s finest to the punch. Not only will we have Daredevil Season 2 a week earlier, but check out the latest teaser and poster!

Chris Evans has the distinction of playing two very different characters in the Marvel universe. He was both The Human Torch in Fantastic Four and its sequel Rise of the Silver Surfer, and now plays Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But he's not the only actor to double up Marvel roles. Ray Stevenson starred as The Punisher in Punisher: War Zone and later would play Volstagg in Thor and Thor: The Dark World.
