The Wanted commandeered the FUSE studios earlier this week, performing extra fun and rousing renditions of ‘Lightning,’ ‘Chasing the Sun’ and ‘Glad You Came’ while fielding questions about the “boy band” label (which can carry a stigma), and their first smooches. All in a days work for the Wanted.

The Wanted have their very own station on Slacker Radio, which they’ve programmed and curated, so fans can learn what the boys like as well as hear exclusive material from the band. In this behind-the-scenes video footage on the “making of” their station, the guys choose specific songs and explain why they love them.

Good news for the Wanted fans. If you haven’t gotten the chance to snatch up their debut EP today, yet another song from the highly anticipated U.S. debut has hit the Internet.

The sun goes down, the stars come out, the Wanted strips down. We know, we just rewrote the lyrics to The Wanted’s smash hit ‘Glad You Came’ but it’s within in reason and we don’t mean stripped down in that way. We’re not that kinda site. The Wanted‘s next official single will be ‘Chasing the Sun,’ but the British boys also dropped the new song ‘Lightning’ from their forthcoming EP via iTunes. Why, yes, it made us want to play with lightning, to borrow the lyrics from the song.
