There’s an old saying, “He who laughs last, laughs the hardest.” For NBA player Kris Humphries, he’s laughing all the way to the bank.

Just a few days after being named one of the Sunday Times’ Top 50 Tweeters, Lily Allen created a minor controversy on the site when she reported a British soldier she thought had made racist and abusive remarks towards her, only to receive a deluge of angry tweets from users who felt she misinterpreted the man’s comments. Bothered by the incident, she later tweeted that she would be taking a hiatus from the site.
Whoa! We had heard Lana Del Rey would be playing American icon Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy Onassis, aka Jackie O, in her video for ‘National Anthem.’ A$AP Rocky, her co-star, who will play Jackie’s late husband and assassinated president JFK, spilled the beans. Now, Del Rey tweeted photos from the vid, where she looks like she plays Jackie O and JFK’s reported mistress, Marilyn Monroe.
It’s been three years to the day since music legend Michael Jackson died of a propofol overdose. As upsetting as his passing was to his millions of loyal fans, it was even more devastating to his three young children Michael Joseph Jackson Jr. (“Prince”), Paris-Michael Katherine Jackson and Prince Michael Jackson II (“Blanket.”)
As you well know, because you're reading these words on a website right now, we live in a tech-savvy world. Relationships are started and ended via the internet. People can find out all about their ancestry. We don't even need television anymore because of Netflix. We keep in contact with friends, family, and even pets via a very specific social networking site. The site, as you may have guessed, is Facebook. It is the love of our life and the bane of our existence, so we have taken it upon ourselves to compile a list of 5 things that are hot, and not, about our favorite social network.
Ah, the model life. Some think it’s simple and luxurious but ask just about any model and she’ll rattle off a laundry list of #hotgirlproblems – from the high level of travel required, their restrictive diets, and, of course, creepy dudes staring at them.
Rihanna has some interesting priorities. The ‘Where Have You Been’ singer, who’s been ill enough to get hooked up to an IV lately, has finally cut off social media contact with ex Chris Brown. It wasn’t the fact that he beat her until she was bruised and bloody back in ’09 that did the trick, nor was it his heavily photographed romance with current flame Karrueche Tran.
What did it take for Rihanna to leave Breezy’s Twitter be? It was a thinly-veiled diss track.
That was quick. As we predicted, Nicki Minaj is returning to Twitter. While the ‘Starships’ singer has yet to issue an “I’m baaaack” tweet, her account, which she shut down over a week ago, is active (and full of pink) again. It was only a matter of time before the rapper returned to the social networking site, since it’s a crucial tool that provides a direct connection to fans.
Talk about a stimulus package!
Nicki Minaj is really ticked off about leaked music, so much so that the ‘Starships’ rapper has deleted her Twitter account. Apparently, Minaj was so angered by fan site NickiDaily posting snippets from ‘Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded’ that she punished all of her fans by quitting Twitter. The album debuted at No. 1, so we’re not sure why the song postings incensed her enough to shut down her Twitter account.
Congrats to Madonna, since ‘MDNA’ landed at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 chart this week, selling 359,000 copies its first week in stores. To celebrate and share the good news, Madge will reconnect with her fans by making a Twitter reprise today (April 4.)
