Just got word from the National Weather Service in Riverton that there's a Winter Weather Advisory in effect until 5pm on Sunday, January 9 - here's the info:

The National Weather Service in Riverton has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for snow and icy conditions, in effect until 5pm on Sunday.   A cold front will push south across Natrona County this evening, through the Casper area around 7pm.  The front will push in light snow, which will continue through Sunday.

Snow accumulations:  2 to 5 inches with the heavier amounts north of Highway 20/26 in Northwest Natrona around Arminto and on the south side of Casper.

Wind and visibility:   North wins at 10 to 20 mph will cause areas of blowing snow and limited visibility to one-half mile at times.

Impacts:  Snow will initially fall on warm road surfaces this evening, with temperatures falling abruptly behind the front.   Expect a thin layer of black ice to form on road surfaces this evening as the snow begins to accumulate.   Roads will likely become very slick through the evening in the Casper area.

Precautionary/preparedness actions:  A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow and blowing snow will cause travel difficulties.   Be prepared for slippery roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.
