
1923 Glenrock-Casper Train Plunges Into The Abyss
The Railroad played a huge part in the settling of the west.
Many passengers were able to 'ride the rails' to a new life, a new beginning in the wide open spaces that we now call home.
There were many accidents that happened along the cold steel rails. September, 1923 a Burlington Passenger came off the rails plunging the train through a bridge just outside of Casper.
