Casper Resident Captures Sheep Herder Hill Fire Time-Lapse [VIDEO]

Since the beginning of the Sheep Herder Hill fire, we have all seen dozens, if not hundreds of fire and smoke photos shared on Facebook by media outlets and the general public. That said, what we haven’t seen is a whole lot of video of the fire.

So far, this is the only time-lapse video of the fire and smoke on Casper Mountain that we have been able to find and it is truly amazing. Shot and uploaded by Jody Von Cusack, the video gives us a true visual depiction of the smoke plume as it grew from the top of Casper Mountain.
