Saint Patrick's Day is dead ahead and this year it falls on a Friday, which translates into more people wearing green and celebrating this year than years past.

Irish or not, St. Patrick's day it's customary to wear green clothing or green accessories to celebrate the power of nature and welcome the arrival of spring.  The color green has been associated with Ireland for centuries due in part to it's abundance of rolling green landscape all the way down to the green in the countries flag.

In the USA, while not a legal holiday, St. Patrick's Day is widely celebrated with prominent displays of green colors, parades and of course lots of alcohol.

If you're looking for a place to celebrate your Irish heritage or just to join others in consuming mass quantities of alcohol - here are the top 5 places around Casper to turn green for St. Patty's day.
