Yup, that's right, another beard post. I can't promise that it will be our last...but this was one we had to share!

This time it's Swiss scientists instead of Australian ones that delved into the deep dark truth about men with beards.

Swiss researchers took swabs of 18 men's beards and 30 dog's necks.

According to Professor Andreas Gutzeit, of Switzerland's Hirslanden Clinic;

"The researchers found a significantly higher bacterial load in specimens taken from the men's beards compared with the dogs' fur,"

Wait for it, it gets better.

They actually found microbes that are a threat to human health within the men's beards.

Blech!

I can't say I was completely surprised at this information. After all, we've all seen what a man with a beard looks like after they've eaten a burger. Just wiping with a napkin won't remove all the remnants of that meal!

I guess maybe it's time to either A. Encourage our bearded men to use antibacterial soap or B. Get those razors out guys!
