Demi Lovato has added another piece to her already extensive collection of art -- body art, that is. The 'Give Your Heart a Break' singer and 'X Factor' judge got inked this week by one of the world's most famous tattoo artists, Kat Von D.

Lovato tweeted photos of her new tattoo on Twitter and Instagram, along with the above photo next to the stunning Von D. Surrounding her previous "faith" tattoo, Lovato now has a lovely flock of birds. She tweeted her gratitude to Von D, writing, "Thank you so much @thekatvond for my new ink!! I think it's beautiful and I love it!!"

Lovato already has a dozen other tattoos, including the phrase "Stay Strong" and a cute pair of lips on her wrists, "Let Go & Let God" (a popular rehab phrase, as well as just a moving one) on her feet, the phrase "you make me beautiful" on her ribs, the words "peace" and "rock n roll" on her fingers, a cross on her hand and a feather behind her ear. (Phew!)

Demz loves her new tattoo, but she's aware that she may not like all of her ink forever. She revealed in September that she's even considered lasering a few of them off, telling Us Weekly, "I've thought about it before because, you know, when I get older I don't know if I want to have 'rock and roll' on my middle finger. But I'm young and I can rock it now. When I get older, I can worry about it later."

Here's hoping she keeps lovin' her "birdies," because they're big -- and pretty! And because, you know, lasers hurt.
