Falcon Takes Out A Pigeon At New NCHS Courtyard [VIDEO]

Former NCTV teacher Lance Madzey posted an awesome video of a merlin taking down a pigeon at the new courtyard at Natrona County High School. The video was filmed by three of his students, Tanner, Rory, and Rayburn.

The merlin is a smaller species of falcon often found in this area of the country. Ironically, the bird is often colloquially known as a pigeon hawk.

Although the video is semi-graphic in nature, it shows the animal kingdom's circle of life.
