So, if your family is like mine—after Christmas, the kids are entertained with toys for a bit on winter break, but then the stir-crazies set in. (For them, and you.)

LOTS of stuff they could do this year while there's no school—here's a list of a few we stumbled across:

  • Casper Planetarium has "Secret Of The Cardboard Rocket" playing at 2pm most days. Only costs $2.50.    Call 'em at 577-0310 for info.
  • Casper Family YMCA has "Christmas Camp" going on - kids get to play, make crafts, and have fun with other kids.   $100 a week.   Call 'em at 234-9187.
  • Casper Children's Theatre is doing an encore presentation of "Seussical Jr." to benefit this year's invite-only trip to the Junior Theatre Festival in Atlanta.   $10 to get in, happens on December 21.   Call 473-8470 for info, and hurry - this sold out last time.

Or, there's the old trick our parents always used - "Go outside and play.  With a stick."   Let us know how that works.   What do you have planned for Winter break?
