I-80 Traffic Routed Through Casper

The Wyoming Department of Transportation is making drastic route changes to move traffic that cannot use I-80 due to today's crash.

Traffic caught in the closure from the I-80 crash is being routed up to WYO 220 and through Casper. That likely means an impact on CY, Wyoming Boulevard and all highways leading to Interstate 25.

I have no idea how many vehicles we're talking about.

I-80 is CLOSED from Rawlins to Cheyenne. Traffic is detoured through Casper:

I-80 exit 215 to Cedar Street

Turn right onto US 287 North for 42 miles to junction with WY 220

Continue on WY 220 for approximately 71 miles to Casper
