It Ain’t Easy Being a Casper Side Street in the Winter

You think your life is hard? Trying being a side street in Casper during the winter months.

I want to say up front that I'm a big fan of the Casper road crews. This is not a criticism of them. But, if you live on a Casper side street, you know the struggle is real when it comes to dealing with lots of snow.

If you view Casper from above, you can understand why dealing with Casper side streets is a problem. Seriously. Check this out.

Other than the main drags like 2nd Street, Beverly and Yellowstone, it looks like a bird's nest.

There have been days where the main roads are more or less clear, but I can barely get my family vehicle off of the street where our house is. Crazy.

Maybe it's just me. Maybe it's just my street. Am I alone in this side street struggle or do you deal with it, too?
