Wyoming is home to amazing views. You could call it 'nature's art.'

Wyoming is also home to amazingly talented artists, with more talent for art in one of their pinky toes than I do in my whole body. All around Wyoming, there are fantastic works of art. They could be sculptures, photography, musicians, writers, and, of course, painters.

One of those artist's names is Justin Hayward. You may know Justin as an instructor at Casper College, where he is a Visual Arts instructor. He won first place in the Wyoming 2025 Conservation Stamp contest, and just a few weeks ago, Justin posted on his social media that he was doing a painting for the U.S. Air Force Academy and the class of 2024.

Painting I did for the US Air Force Academy's 2024 graduates. The symbolism in the painting represents the cadets' 4 years at the academy. It will be presented to the keynote speaker at graduation.

If that's not cool enough, the keynote speaker that the painting was presented to is Vice President of the United States, Kamala Harris, at the commencement as a gift from the class of 2024.

Vice President Kamala Harris was gifted my painting at the US Air Force Academy graduation today. Such an honor!

The vice president now owns the painting representing the U.S. Air Force Academy Class of 2024. Politics aside, these young men and women will now serve our country and go on to do incredible things.
