Let's talk about what is really going on here.

These bears have just awakened from their winter slumber.

As the temperature warms they begin to shed their winter coat.

You can imagine that they would like to get that coat off as soon as possible. It's starting to get uncomfortable.

As the nature video below explains, this is why they like to find a good tree, with some heavy bark, and rub themselves all over it.

It's all about stripping off that winter coat so they don't overheat.

Now all we have to do is add a little music and voila, we have a dance video, which is much more interesting than the scientific explanation.
