The video below Starts with a very different mood than it ends with.

A family of bears strolling by the camera.

But then that last bear sees that burned-out little tree and decides to stop for a good back scratch.

That would have been a cute enough video right there.

But why stop when we can have so much more fun?

Let's add some music.

Enjoy the video, below.

Now we got that bear busting some moves.

He's not the only one.

In our next video, we see several bears from several different camera angles scratching their back, I mean, dancing, to some hot disco.

This shows the old Hollywood trick of using mood music to set the scene.

We would all be thinking something entirely different there was a different kind of music playing.

Feel free to jump up and join the bears below as you watch this next video.

Let's talk about what is really going on here.

These bears have just awakened from their winter slumber.

As the temperature warms they begin to shed their winter coat.

You can imagine that they would like to get that coat off as soon as possible. It's starting to get uncomfortable.

As the nature video below explains, this is why they like to find a good tree, with some heavy bark, and rub themselves all over it.

It's all about stripping off that winter coat so they don't overheat.

Now all we have to do is add a little music and voila, we have a dance video, which is much more interesting than the scientific explanation.

A Gallery Of High Planes Wyoming Winter Bison

Special thanks to Grandpa Rich of Thermopolis Wyoming for these photos.

Each morning Grandpa drives up to check on the herd in Hot Springs County Wyoming.

As he drives around he takes photos and sends them to me.

An audience of 1 is not enough.

That's why I'm sharing them with you.
