The town of Kaycee may be small, but the community has a very large heart. An event on Saturday, February 25th, will raise funds for the Brian Scott Gamroth Community Stage at David Street Station. K2 Radio's Brian Scott, often called "The Voice Of Wyoming", died suddenly in a motorcycle accident last fall.

Organizers of the Kaycee event organizers say Brian was a big advocate of small-town Wyoming. Nicki Taylor says he was a great supporter of the Kaycee community and its rodeos and other events. "He never failed to stop by the Invasion Bar and Restaurant, whether it was a bikers rodeo or when he was up hunting, or just came for a motorcycle ride," she says, "so we felt like he was connected to our community and we wanted to do something in return for all K2 and Brian has done for us over the years."

The Saturday event will be held at Harold Jarrard Park, and starts with a Potluck from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Meat and table settings will be provided.  Live music by Cowtown kicks off at 9:00 p.m., and the evening will be packed with a silent auction, minnow races for kids of all ages, a Calcutta, and more.

Auction items can be dropped off at the Invasion Bar and Grill in Kaycee. For more information, you can call (307) 738-3211.
