Where do you go when you just need to put your toes in the water and your behind in the sand?

If you're like most people, you love the water. If you're like me, you crave it. We've seen several reports that support the idea that being near the water is actually good for our health.

I couldn't agree more.

We're lucky enough to live in a state where there are plenty of bodies of water to get our water fix from. These beaches become our source of relaxation and rejuvenation. The great thing is that the water doesn't have to be salty (a.k.a. the ocean) for that strip of land to be considered a beach.

So, of all of these beaches by both salty and fresh waters, which is the best?

According to the Travel Channel and their list of the 50 States of Beaches, Wyoming's best beach is found at Buffalo Bill Reservoir. This slice of paradise is located near the Absaroka Mountains, just 40 miles from Yellowstone National Park. It's perfect for swimming and catching those beach vibes. You can also camp and fish while you're there.

Heaven.
