Lorde Wins ‘Song of the Year’ For ‘Royals’ at 2014 Grammy Awards
Congratulations to Lorde -- she just won her second Grammy of the night for 'Song of the Year,' 'Royals'!
The 17-year-old Kiwi singer shares the award with Joel Little, who wrote the hit tune with her. During their adorable acceptance speech, Little referred to Lorde by her given name, Ella Yelich-O' Connor. So sweet!
As for what Lorde -- who performed the hit and won 'Best Pop Solo Performance' earlier in the night -- had to say, she remembered to thank all of the people who made the tune such a success.
"Thank you to everyone who has let the song explode -- because it's been mental," she gushed.
Congratulations!
