For the second time in as many weeks, a body has been found near the downtown Casper area.

Update 2:12pm: At around 10:20am on Monday, January 25th, Casper Police were called to the scene just south of the playground at City Park, located on Center Street, between 7th and 8th Streets.

A Police spokes-person says an Investigation has ruled out any foul play and it appears the subject took his own life.

There is no threat to the community and identification of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of the family.

Last week, a body was found at an old rail loading dock near the intersection of C and Beech Streets.

The cause of death in that cause was determined to be hypothermia.
