Miley Cyrus nabbed the October cover of Harper's Bazaar, looking classically beautiful with her blond hair tame and her body poured into an LBD.

Her lips are painted red, adding to her Old Hollywood glam vampish-ness -- but overall, this is a subdued version of Miley, a far cry from the VMAs twerker. She can, in fact, stop... going buckwild to pose classically on a high fashion magazine cover.

She also took a pause to talk about why she has let loose in recent times.

"I was an adult when I was supposed to be a kid. So now I'm an adult and I'm acting like a kid," she said of her 'Hannah Montana' period and her early rocket ride to fame. "There are times when I'm sitting in my big ole house and I'm like, 'I can't believe I'm allowed to be here alone.'"

Hey, it happens.

Cyrus declined to discuss her relationship with (we think) fiance Liam Hemsworth, instead saying she hopes to get married one day, but not today, since "I definitely don't have time to deal with a wedding right now. But I will at some point."

The singer, who has her own skate ramp at her house since she can't go to public parks due to her fame, also said she might attempt to do a jewelry line down the road. She's taking her time before slapping her name on anything, since her Walmart line, discontinued in 2012 after launching in '09, didn't pan out as planned.

Regarding her influence on fashion, Cyrus said, "I feel like every girl is trying to have a beauty shot and prove that they're 'fashion.' But I can be in white leggings and a white sports bra and I'm on a whole other level of s--t that those girls don't even get yet because they don't know how to do it."

She clearly thinks highly of her own style, as does Harper's, which put her on the cover.

Cyrus also revealed that she challenged her new label RCA to trust her. Regarding her video for 'We Can't Stop,' Cyrus revealed, "I told my label, 'This is the first time I'm showing you what I'm bringing to the table as an artist. If this goes wrong, you never have to trust me again. I'll be your little puppet. But if I'm right, then you know I'm on to something.'"

Sounds like the label's gamble paid off since the song is a massive hit and everyone's been talking about the vid.

Lastly, music is all Miley cares about in 2013. Acting? That's backburning. Her videos can fill that void. "I don't really care to do anything acting-wise," she said. "I want to make all of my music videos so epic that it feels like I'm still involved with acting."

Two birds, one stone. Nice work, Miley. She really does look gorge on this cover. We lurve.

Cyrus did go couture in previous Harper's Bazaar photos.
