Nicki Minaj admitted that she suffered a wardrobe malfunction during her opening performance of 'Bang Bang' at the 2014 MTV VMAs -- but was the whole thing actually staged?

The 'Anaconda' rapper revealed that she did not have time to get her dressed zipped all the way up due to the insanely fast costume change between her 'Anaconda' number and 'Bang Bang' -- but TMZ is claiming that she "pulled the same stunt" during rehearsals for the show.

According to the site, eyewitnesses claim that Minaj donned the unzipped dress at rehearsals, adding that she was practicing wrapping her arms around the frock in a "weird" way in order to see how much skin she was flaunting. TMZ also claims that the makeshift dressing room directly offstage gave the rapper ample time to change -- and correctly zip up her dress.
