Stacy Keibler May Host Second Season of ‘X Factor’
We’re reaching the point where some programming-hungry network could build a hit series just about the rumors of who might or might not be part of the next season of ‘X Factor.’ The latest scuttlebutt suggests that Stacy Keibler, a former professional wrestler and onetime George Clooney paramour, is in talks to join the show.
While she’s apparently currently negotiating for a judges’ chair, a source tells the New York Post that “her lack of experience in the music business may make her more appropriate as a host.” Quickly putting a more positive spin on the situation, the source added, “She looks fantastic and has bags of charisma.”
Keibler, who has also appeared in the pages of Maxim and Stuff, is building plenty of TV experience — she was a contestant on a previous season of ‘Dancing with the Stars’ and has booked a recurring role on ‘How I Met Your Mother’ — and her modeling background would seem to make her a natural fit for the show’s plans to feature a male/female hosting team in the wake of first-season emcee Steve Jones’ departure.
What do you think? Are you interested in seeing Stacy Keibler host ‘The X Factor,’ or are you more interested in the judges (and, of course, the contestants) than the hosts?
