Straight Outta Casper College: Don’t Mess With The Turkey Gang [VIDEO]
Casper College is getting serious about its gang problem.
A gang of turkeys -- yep, a group of turkeys is called a "gang" -- has been hanging out around the college and gobbling up the traffic just north of the campus for about a year, according to local Facebook lore.
And they're getting restless.
So the college put out this statement today about the gang threat on campus:
"Several wild turkeys have chosen to make an area on the northeast corner of the campus near Liesinger Hall and Health Sciences their home. People have reported that they sometimes become aggressive or attempt to run after them.
"These are wild animals and they are territorial. There are also mating dynamics involved and the male is protective of the females. The turkeys are best avoided. If they are near a particular doorway use an alternate entry/exit. Don't feed them and stay as far away from them as possible."
So if you get caught in a gang crossfire, don't say we didn't warn you.
