“There’s literally nothing to do here” is a phrase I’ve heard, and said, time after time. Convinced there was nothing to do in Casper besides eat or go to the movies, being a “broke teen” also came with boredom. I was never super big into sports, or video games, but regardless I kept myself entertained.

When Marlow opened Scarlow’s Gallery in October of 2014, she wanted it to be a space where artists could show their work. That’s all. She didn’t have a grand vision of transforming the art scene in Casper. She wasn’t planning to turn downtown Casper into a destination. She didn’t intend to change the city.
That part came later.
