Harlem Globetrotters

DJ Nyke is not known for sports... for obvious reasons. Last year I embarrassed myself attempting to play on the Washington Generals squad against the world famous Harlem Globetrotters. It was a fun and truly a one-of-a-kind experience, however, my performance left much to be desired.

The Harlem Globetrotters make their name sinking crazy shots, but even still, this is pretty impressive.

After several weeks of me stating how badly I did NOT want to embarrass myself... well, it happened anyway. Last night the Harlem Globetrotters were in town to play at the Casper Event Center and yours truly somehow got drafted onto the All-Star team.

I had the immense honor and privilege of interviewing one of the world famous Harlem Globetrotters earlier this week. Buckets Blakes came through and dropped some knowledge and history about the organization as well as some of the charitable activities the team is involved in. It was an awesome surprise to find out Buckets actually played his college basketball right here in Wyoming for the Cowboys (and shared some interesting stats that he lead in during his tenure).

The Harlem Globetrotters have entertained audiences all over the world for the past 88 years. They bring their family- friendly show to the Casper Events Center on March 27th.
