This is not the first the time the rumor mills have been a buzz about a Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole collaboration, but this is the first one that came with a proposed album cover.
J. Cole has touched on a controversial topic in his latest music video, entitled Crooked Smile, which also features TLC on the hook. As much as I love that particular song, I was semi-lost seeing how the video was supposed to tie into the song. After watching it in it's entirety, I realized it didn't really. It was Cole's clever, yet not so subtle way to make a statement. And in his defense, it was a successful.
J. Cole shared a new track 'Cole Summer,' which the rapper declares is not an album preview for 'Born Sinner,' out June 25. There's plenty weighing heavily on Cole's mind and he wants to get a lot of things off his chest.
What a difference a year makes for J. Cole. A year ago, the Roc Nation artist had the No. 1 album with 'Cole World: The Sideline Story' and graced the cover of RESPECT. magazine's two-year anniversary issue. Now Hollywood Cole comes back for the magazine's three-year anniversary issue.
“How many Kanye beats do a n—- gotta murder to prove my mind’s further?,” J. Cole asks on his new joint ‘The Cure,’ which samples the ‘Watch the Throne’ track ‘Lift Off.’
J. Cole is trending on Twitter with the release of his latest video, ‘Sideline Story,’ a track from his successful debut ‘Cole World: The Sideline Story.’
