A Wyoming woman is dead after being hit by a vehicle on the Wind River Indian Reservation early Saturday morning, authorities say.

Francis Acebo, an enrolled member of the Northern Arapaho Tribe, entered the victim's residence and they began looking for a cell phone charger.

A 28-year-old Ethete man convicted of abusive sexual contact has been sentenced to 19 months in federal prison.

According to the release, Stagner continued to make false allegations as the case was investigated as part of an effort to extort money from the man.

The U.S. Marshals Service investigated the case.
