Justine Siegal threw batting practice at the Cleveland Indians' spring training facility in Goodyear, Arizona, marking the first time a woman has ever performed this task.
She will pitch batting practice again today, this time for the Oakland A's.
This isn't the first time the 36-year old has been a baseball gender pioneer -- in 2009 Siegal became the first woman to coach first base for a men's professional team when she did so for the Broxton Rox of the Canadian-American League. Read on to see her in action.
