“Wyoming has the highest number of registered guns per capita of any state in America. For every 1,000 residents, there are 195.7 guns, about three times the rate of second-place D.C.” says CBS News. “That's 114,052 registered firearms in a state with a population of only 582,658 people.”

This could have something to do with Wyoming being the 4th safest state in the United States. I wonder if maybe bad guys would think twice before breaking in or starting trouble with such a heavily armed citizenry? According to 247wallst. They also say we are an educated state and I think it shows, IMHO.

Xfinity has Wyoming as the 6th safest state.
