The Forbes Hip-Hop Cash Kings List each year takes a look at the elite group of artists that earn the distinguish of being the highest earners in the genre. This year, the winner that came out on top was Dr. Dre, who easily beat second place finisher Jay Z by a whopping $560 million!
Yikes! Macklemore had some fans in an uproar after he donned a controversial costume while performing in Seattle over the weekend, wearing a black wig, beard and fake nose that many interpreted as a hurtful caricature of a longstanding Jewish stereotype.

Macklemore and Ryan Lewis didn't just perform 'Same Love,' their commanding and potent song about same-sex equality, at the 2014 Grammy Awards (Jan. 26). The Seattle rap duo had couples of all ages, races and orientations get married on their cathedral-like stage during the performance.
Macklemore and Ryan Lewis are currently in Miami, but that didn't stop the duo from appearing at the 2013 American Music Awards (Nov. 24). They beamed in from their concert in Florida, offering a satellite performance of their smash hit 'Can't Hold Us.'

Just in time for the big tour, Ryan Lewis and Macklemore posted a video on YouTube of the rapper prank calling a girl who was scalping tickets to his performance on Craigslist.
Macklemore used a fake accent and kept her going for many minutes before ultimately revealing that he actually was the person she was selling tickets to.
The 2013 MTV EMAs – that's the European Music Awards — are slated to broadcast live on Sunday, Nov. 10 from Amsterdam. Justin Timberlake and Macklemore + Ryan Lewis lead the nominations with a five a piece, while Lady Gaga and Miley Cyrus, along with Robin Thicke and Justin Bieber, all notched four nods a piece.
