A truck driver on his way to Salt Lake City was stuck on a two-track road in Natrona County for three days before he called sheriff's deputies Tuesday.

According to Natrona County Sheriff's Office incident report, when deputies got to the man, who was stuck in the area of Dry Creek and Beaver Creek roads, the driver said he'd been out there for three days. The driver also told deputies that he was following his GPS and got turned around.

Deputies found the driver roughly eight miles southwest of Black Mountain, the report says.

A sheriff's deputy gave the driver, who said he was very cold and hungry, a ride into town for the night. The deputy also gave the driver food and water.

A local towing company advised they would get the big rig Wednesday.
