It's been over five years since 50 Cent's powerhouse group, G-Unit dropped an album and even longer since they appeared as a cohesive... pardon the pun, but unit.

G-Unit which is short for Guerrilla Unit (which is a play on the term Guerrilla Warfare) came to prominence as Fif gained bigger national coverage after signing with Eminem and Dr. Dre as part of joint venture with Shady/Aftermath. The original members were, 50 Cent, Tony Yayo and Lloyd Banks all from New York but later added southern rapper Young Buck. G-Unit has seen many line-up changes and often had members being kicked out and/or demoted (just ask Young Buck or The Game).

Whatever the reason for the reunion, G-Unit is backed together and stronger than ever along with new member, Kidd Kidd (who started his rap career as an original member of Lil Wayne's Young Money camp). Let's just hope they can stay focused on music as group.
