After plenty of speculation, including an evil little 7-second teaser trailer, ABC has finally released a full 30 second trailer to the masses on the upcoming 'Marvel's' Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. television show. The show is scheduled to air sometime in September 2013. It will take place in the Marvel continuity (which is to say, it will take place in the same time frame and world of the movies in the Marvel franchise, like Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, The Incredible Hulk & Avengers).

The show will star Clark Gregg, reprising his show-stealing role of Agent Phil Coulson. How has his character been revived from the dead after his seeming death in Avengers by the hands of Thor's brother Loki? They aren't saying... not yet at least. But comic book nerds (like myself) worldwide have our theories. I'll at least keep mine to myself as not to spoil it for the rest of you... basically because I'm sure one of my 3 hypothesis has got to be correct.

The show will also showcase other members of S.H.I.E.L.D., which is an acronym for Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division. Recurring characters include: Agent Grant Ward (Brett Dalton), Agent Melinda May (Ming-Na Wen), Agent Leo Fitz (Iain De Caestecker) and Agent Jemma Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge).

Check out the trailer below. This one is sure to be a classic!
