Adam Lambert gave his South African fans a pretty big treat on Nov. 14. The 'American Idol' alum performed a rollicking cover of Lenny Kravitz's 'Are You Gonna Go My Way' to a sold out crowd at his Cape Town show.

Sporting leather pants and a fringed jacket that Kravitz himself would probably covet (if he doesn't have it already), Lambert's cover was true to the original. The main difference was in the vocals -- whereas Kravitz has a rock n' roll yet mellow style (though this is one of his harder tracks), Lambert brought in his usual theatric touches and slight vocal histrionics to make it his own.

Another touch that was signature Glambert? The dancing. That man can move, and when he does, the crowd goes as wild as the dangling leather on his jacket.

Lambert will continue his South African tour with a stop in Johannesburg tomorrow (Nov. 16). He's promoting his sophomore album, 'Trespassing,' which, aside from being a great listen, also made history: With its No. 1 debut, it made Lambert the first openly gay male ever to debut at the top of the Billboard chart. Awesome and well deserved!
