Chris Brown Responds to Lip-Syncing Attacks at 2012 Billboard Music Awards
It was only a matter of time before Chris Brown responded to the comments about his lip-synced performance at the 2012 Billboard Music Awards. Pink and her hubby Carey Hart were the most vocal critics of Breezy’s perf of ‘Turn Up the Music,’ issuing a series of tweets while insisting he copied a previous Pink stage setup, too.
Surprisingly, the normally temperamental Breezy took the high road and didn’t resort to trashing them for trashing him. He was rather restrained and tame in his retort.
Breezy first posted that he will continue to do his thing and then posted a bit of a challenge, suggesting that anyone who wastes their time criticizing him would be better served by trying to best him.
Below are Breezy’s tweets on the matter. We’ve gotta give him props for not getting verbally violent and pretty much dismissing what Pink and Hart said. The “God Bless” at the end of the tweet feels like a little dig, but for the most part, Breezy was a total pro in his response. Plus, we think it was very responsible of him to address the death threats coming from Team Breezy.
That previously issued feud alert between Breezy and Pink? Canceled!
Don’t hold ya breath waiting for me to stop doing me!
