Twenty-five firefighters continue to work and monitor the Lick Creek fire in the Bighorn National Forest.

The Lick Creek Fire is burning in the northern Bighorns. It's currently listed at 4 acres, Bighorn National Forest Spokeswoman Sara Evans Kirol said.

The fire is burning in rugged terrain and firefighters are monitoring and mopping up. Crews will continue to monitor the situation as hot and dry conditions are expected through the weekend.

Two firefighters were sent to the hospital and released Wednesday. One firefighter experienced a heat-related illness with the other suffering an eye injury.

Both were expected to make a full recovery, Kirol said.
