As fires continue spreading in Wyoming, you can get a different perspective on how large they are by taking a look at photos taken from space. NASA has several satellite photos of the wildfires, including those in Wyoming. To see more, click here to view the nasa.gov fire gallery.

The Arapaho Fire southwest of Wheatland in the Laramie Range has now grown to 82,000 acres, and is the largest fire burning in the state at this time. More than 600 personnel are battling that fire. The Squirrel Creek Fire southwest of Laramie has consumed more than 7,000 acres, and prompted hundreds of evacuations. The Fontenelle Fire in the Bridger-Teton National Forest is now at just over 52,000 acres. And fire crews from Oregon and Washington State are handling suppression duties in a fire north of Newcastle. Evacuation orders have been issued there, and more fire crews are responding to the scene.
