Hot, Dry Weather With Little Chance of Thunderstorms
It is going to be a toasty couple of days across the Cowboy State. Highs today and Wednesday will top off in the 80s and 90s and from 100 to 105 in parts of the southeast. This heat, low relative humidity and an increase in the wind later today continues to keep the fire danger very high to extreme. A Red Flag Warning is in effect for northeast Wyoming through Wednesday and a Fire Weather Watch is in effect for much of the rest of the state through tomorrow as well.
The prospects for precipitation are slim. A little bit of moisture coming up from the south could trigger a few isolated to widely scattered gusty thunderstorms mainly in the south.
