Veterans have been part of the United States since the beginning and the American Revolution and the numbers have increased in every war since. Millions of Veterans struggle every day with different issues that are due to their service to our country.

There's not a group that knows more about the struggles a Veteran goes through than the American Infidel Veteran Motorcycle Club. A group of Vets that ride in support of their brothers and sisters that also served in the military.

Not every Vet has the same story or issue, but they can all relate in some way, shape or form, to the daily life struggles, physical or mental problems, treatments or loss of friends.

AIVMC's Wyoming Chapter, was part of Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon's proclimation that made June Veteran Suicide Prevention and Awareness month. During June, they put on their annual 22kill Run and over the years have donated thousands of dollars to the 22Kill campaign. A campaign to help publicize the daily loss of life to Veterans by suicide.

Now the Wyoming Chapter of the American Infidel Veteran Motorcycle Club is back in action, this time hosting AIVMC chapters from all over the country. AIVMC Wyoming Chapter's 'Shaggy' says the event has been in the planning for quite a while.

we've been prepping for this run for the last two years now. We've done a lot of ground work, all the logistics are coming together, but yes this one's going to be a big run for us. It's going to be a lot to us and the community.

The American Infidels VMC Poker Run is happening Saturday July 29th in Casper, Wyoming. For the first time, the proceeds from this event will stay in Wyoming and benefitting the nearly 50,000 Veterans that live in the Cowboy State.

The clubs "Rella" says this weekends run is going to be the same route at the 22kill run from last month.

registration at the VFW off Brian Stock Trail, then we'll go down to Douglas at the College Inn.Then out to Glendo, then we'll come back up through Glenrock Fort Diablo, out to the Horseshoe out in Mills then back the VFW for dinner.

Even if you're not a motorcycle rider, you can still be involved with the event and help raise money and awareness. You're welcome to drive a car, truck, van, hot rod, side by side, horse, tractor or other any other type of vehicle. As long as it's road legal and can keep pace, you can be part if it.

Shaggy explained the pricing to participate.

the ride is going to be $20 for a rider and $10 for a passenger. Same thing if you have a truck or a car. We're also going to be selling some tshirts there. We've got pretty cool t-shirts to sell, those are going to sell for $20 too.

The ride also includes a BBQ dinner back the at the VFW provided by the Service Industry Representatives.
