Legendary “Top 40 Countdown” Host Casey Kasem Near Death
Sad news is surfacing about long time radio personality Casey Kasem. According to TMZ, who acquired new documents stating Casey’s current condition, Casey’s heath is on a sharp decline and he's nearing death.
According to a physician’s report, Casey’s memory is nearly gone. The report says that both his long and short term memory is impaired, and that he’s struggling with verbal communication and ability to complete simple tasks. These documents were filed by Casey’s daughter Julie, who’s fighting to take control of her father, while keeping him away from his wife Jean.
Casey Kasem was diagnosed with advanced Parkinson’s disease as well as dementia, and according to doctors, Casey’s health has taken a turn for the worse in the past 3 to 4 years. According to a representative for his wife Jean, Casey is most likely to die in the next 3 to 4 months.
The news of Casey’s recent health surfaced during a dispute in small claims court involving Jean and Casey, who were disputing reports from a former caregiver claiming she was mistreated by them. Meantime, Casey’s life is in turmoil while his daughter is fighting against his wife. I don’t even think a famed “long distance dedication” could mend these family fences.
