Last Friday (April 10th, 2015), St. Louis rapper and actor, Nelly was arrested for drugs and drug paraphernalia in Tennessee when his tour was pulled over for a missing Department of Transportation sticker. He has now spoken up about the incident.

Nelly recently told TMZ:

"I feel the need to take responsibility for my choices in needing to be more aware of all the people I associate with and allow onto my property. While my instinct of course, is to be accessible to my friends, fans and acquaintances, the last thing I would want to do is compromise the respect and admiration of my friends, family and fans."

Although the Country Grammar-rapper is facing a felon charge for meth, as well as two lesser charges, his lawyers are stating the baggies that were found and initially said to contain methamphetamine, were actually ecstasy. It's not know yet how this will play out if the case is taken to court.

Nelly also stated, that although it was his tour bus, at least 15 others had unrestricted access to the vehicle.
