Sheriff Investigating Stabbing Near Mills

Sheriff's Department Deputies are still investigating a stabbing that occurred Sunday afternoon in the 4500 block of Countryside Court. Two men apparently got into an altercation, and one stabbed the other multiple times.

The victim, 28-year-old Kevin Simmons, was taken to the hospital, and is in stable condition.

The other man, 32-year-old Robert Snyder, ran from the scene but was later caught and has been charged with aggravated assault.

He will be formally charged today.
