Beartooth Highway

Yellowstone National Park urges travelers to stay informed about road status and weather that can change quickly with heavy snow and hazardous driving conditions.

In early July Utah vlogger Daft Trip decided to travel the Beartooth Highway to see some mountain goats and saw a grizzly bear too.

With the highway cresting at more than 11,000 feet, park officials remind the public to check road conditions. Beartooth can close at any time due to inclement weather.

The Montana Department of Transportation on Thursday announced that the scenic Beartooth Highway has closed for the season.
