It's about time we started racking up those caffeine points!

Much like apps, there's literally a credit card for everything. Many of those cards offer you a chance to rack up loyalty points to be used on bonus items like airfare, hotels, etc. Now, you can collect points for your favorite Starbucks' beverages.

Starbucks is now offering a co-branded Visa credit card.

According to USA Today, the Starbucks Rewards Visa Card operates just like a credit card and is accepted anywhere you can use a typical Visa. Cardholders can rack up points, called Stars, which can then be used at over 8,000 participating Starbucks locations. But use those Stars quick, because they do carry a six-month expiration date.

Chase is offering the card with a $49 annual fee.

In addition cardholders will receive 2,500 Stars for spending $500 in the first three months. A Star will be awarded for every $4 spent somewhere other than Starbucks. In addition, you will automatically receive the coveted Gold Status within the Starbucks Rewards program and eight free food or beverage items each year.

Applications for the Starbucks Rewards Visa Card are now being accepted.
