WATCH: Grizzly and Moose Face Off in Family’s Backyard

In the western states, our backyards are never boring. That was definitely the case recently when one family noticed a grizzly and moose facing off behind their home.

This was just shared by The Griz Den on Facebook. There's no location mentioned, but I'd bet my bottom dollar this happened in Montana.

Moral of this story? Never ever underestimate the fury of a moose cow trying to protect her calf. That grizzly came close to being on the wrong end of a charge.
